somewhere, on a velvety sheet,
a star is composing emotions

the moon is the maestro
that will orchestrate it

all creatures of the night
will listen to it open-mouthed

a maroon of flowers
will spread their perfume

the universe thru its own will
will give us wings

we'll transpire ecstasy
and dance will dance on our tempo

pieces gigged in the fell‧in‧love's key
written on heaven's partition
